Float Decanter with Ash Wood Stopper - Tall

A  mouth-blown decanter with a contemporary bottle-shaped profile and oval stopper, formed from FSC-certified ash. The solid wooden stopper appears to float in the neck of the clear glass vessel. The rim is melted to achieve a smooth finish. The stopper is cut to size from natural ash, sanded to an oval shape then treated with a food-safe oil to protect the wood.

The wood is sourced from sustainably-managed European forests and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. Due to its handmade nature, the size of this item may vary slightly.

About the Brand: Based in London, UK, LSA International was started in the 60s by Janusz Lubkowski and his wife Ewa to explore avenues of Polish production which included mouth-blown glass, porcelain, natural wood etc. The company still continues with the passion for contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship working closely with skilled artisans to experiment and push the boundaries of the original materials. Their production is in Poland and almost all of the glassware is hand made and produced from high-quality lead-free glass.
